Safety Data Sheets are vital documents that collate information on chemical products to help users make the necessary risk assessments. This webinar will give a brief introduction into the regulatory and technical requirements for reading and writing SDS ahead of the training workshop on 1 November.

This webinar will highlight some of key things to consider when reading and writing SDS and will be based around going through an example of an SDS highlighting areas where problems can arise:

  • Situations when you need to provide an SDS
  • What information is needed
  • How and when should they be updated

This webinar will also point out the legal framework of SDS already well covered in guidance documents and the legal texts.

By the end of this webinar, you will:

  • Be able to recognise a correct SDS. You’ll also know when to ask suppliers for a better SDS
  • Know when to provide an SDS, what information is needed, and how and when they should be updated
  • Learn where to find the legal framework of SDS

If you can’t attend but are interested in the webinar, register anyway and we’ll send you a link to the recording.
