Before joining the Chemistry World team, I spent years working across science, health and social care journalism for different publications covering news, features and events and finding stories at the intersections of research, policy and people. 

As part of these roles, I contributed to weekly newsletters and gained insights into social media, podcasts and the different ways to reach people. 

At university, I undertook at Medicinal Chemistry Masters where I regularly found exciting new topics to dig and was first introduced to the Chemistry World magazine. 

I love exploring new areas of science, learning how they impact the world around us and finding a way to transform sometimes complex or technical information into engaging stories.
