Sean Browner
Sean Browner joined the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2021 as a publishing editor and moved to an assistant editor role in 2022. Previously, he completed his bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of South Wales, followed by an attempt at a PhD, which was stopped due to medical reasons (short-lived research career), utilising transition metal catalysts & scorpionate ligands for the conversion of methane into value commodity chemicals.
When not working, Sean can be found playing video games, getting annoyed when Swindon Town lose (again), practising taekwondo and kickboxing, playing football very badly, being an amateur photographer, and stopping to pet every cat within a 10-metre radius.

Chlorine radicals could be used to destroy methane heading for the atmosphere
Researchers suggest positioning reactors that trigger methane oxidation at landfills and the ventilation exits of underground coal mines
