Shobha Shukla

Shobha Shukla is professor at the department of metallurgical engineering and materials sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India. She obtained her doctoral degree at the State University of New York/SUNY Buffalo, USA. Subsequently she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Her research interests are in the field of nanophotonics devices, water related technologies, metamaterials, and plasmonic devices. Prof. Shobha Shukla has published her research in several international journals and presented her research on international forums. She is also on the editorial board of Scientific Reports (Nature publishing group) & Journal of Physics-Photonics (IoP publishing). Professor Shukla is currently heading the water innovation center (WICTRE) at IIT Bombay.
