US biotech firm announces second expansion in six months
US biotech Regeneron has announced that it will expand its corporate headquarters and laboratories in Tarrytown.
The company develops biological medicines and is currently running a Phase III trial of its cholesterol-lowering PCSK9 antibody drug candidate, along with Sanofi.
This is the second expansion Regeneron has announced in the last six months. In November 2012, it commited to enlarging its manufacturing plant in Rensselaer, US, adding another 300 jobs.
