Surinder K Mehta, FRSC, is an eminent chemist and academic leader serving as a professor in the department of chemistry at Panjab University, Chandigarh. He has held key leadership roles including Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ladakh and Honorary Director of SAIF, PU. His research spans nanomaterials, electrochemistry and environmental chemistry, with extensive publications, national contributions and a strong record of fostering Indo-German collaboration through DAAD, as well as active involvement in initiatives such as CRIKC and GIAN to promote research excellence in India and abroad.
