Khushleen Kaur
I joined Chemistry World as a science writer intern in August 2025. I’m currently studying for an MSci in chemistry at Imperial College London and have completed an industrial placement at GSK, gaining hands-on experience in pharmaceutical research and development. Alongside my degree, I’m building experience in science communication, editorial work, and science policy through various publishing and outreach roles.
I’m especially passionate about research at the interface of different scientific disciplines, with particular interests in chemical biology and inorganic chemistry. I enjoy exploring how fundamental science can drive innovation in healthcare, drug discovery, and broader societal challenges, and highlighting the impact of these discoveries for a wider audience.
