Italian unions denounce unequal R&D investment
Universities being left out in the cold by funding decisions
Labour unions and PhD student associations in Italy have criticised the government’s focus on R&D that comes at the expense of the nation’s universities. This comes after €200 million euros (£175 million) was allocated to the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa (IIT) at the end of May.
